Food Porn: Shrimp and Orzo with Grape Tomatoes and Romano Cheese

Bobo, the ENTIRE time I said, "tom ARE to" instead of "tom MAY to".

Shrimp and Orzo with Cherry Tomatos and Romano Cheese

This is a Cooking Light Recipe and it ROCKS!

Things I changed:
1. Used grape tomatoes, like them better
2. Added some white wine (about 1/2 the glass I was drinking) to deglaze (aren't I fancy) just before putting shrimp back in the pan.

REALLY good and you can probably use rice too that was already cooked and leftover. Just omit the cooking orzo part. Also, an SB white wine is quite good with it...

also before...and also after. :)

Wait...keep mine warm. I'll be right there. It's definitely a XXX feature for me when the main ingredients are shrimp, 'maters, and any kind of cheese. YUM!

Tomo = http://justhereforkixx.blogspot.com

He commented on both Jared and Shannon's blogs. Is it sad that I saw the comments, saw the display name "t.m." and automatically knew it was him? lol

Good to see my impromptu elocution lessons are helping with the proper enunciation of common English words.

Having mastered the basic tom-ARE-toe, you can try lesson two, moving on to the tricky "can't"

You say Kan't

as in Immanuel Kant, 1724-1804, the Prussian Enlightenment rationalist philosopher.

We cay Khan't

as in Genghis Khan (with a 't on the end), 1162-1227, warrior ruler of the Mongol horde. Or, if you're feeling more like Every Woman, Chaka Khan.

PS: The food porn looked yummy, once I'd looked up orzo.

Taht sounds delicious ... I was a bit creative last night, myself. We were supposed to have some fancy salad with grilled chicken and bacon .... I found that the salad we had was bad, so I decided to hard-boil two eggs, make the bacon, grill the chicken (it was marinated in garlic and onion), and then get two rolls, spread some mayo and put some garlic on them, and then toast them. I put the grilled chicken, hard boiled eggs, and bacon on the roll, and called it a breakfast chicken sandwich.

Yummy, makes me want to cancel the chicken marinating and have that!
