My Softie
So last night I was on my way home from Lottery Yarn and I called P to let him know I was on my way. When he answered he sounded all kinds of stuffed up. I asked him about it he said itcame on this evening. I asked him if he took anything for it, no of course. Anyway, I get home and he is in bed with G-dog. He is stuffy and his eyes are red. I asked him if he was ok. I was thinking really big allergy attack or something. Turns out, he had been watching a movie but when he switched back to TV it was on Animal Planet and it was one of those Animal Cop shows. He had never seen it or made fun of me when I might have been watching. He got sucked in and had a few tears falling because of one of the stories about a dog being abused. Awwwwwww! He said he'd never watch it again.

I read the "Two Choices" post I had on my blog yesterday to Dear Hubby when he came in from work and it had him crying like a baby by the end of it. I'm so glad you and I have men who aren't ashamed to show tears...to me, not being afraid to show their tender side is about as masculine and manly as it gets!
Awe! That show always gets me too! DC talk - I FELL asleep! Darn good thing I recorded it!!! I missed all the Phil stuff.
Yes, please feel free to pass "Two Choices" on. Like I said, it's something to share with the whole world, isn't it?
uugghhhhh.... Animal Planet, gets me EVERY time. Horse in the mud, kitten down a drain pipe. I am just not emotionally stable enough to watch :(
I can't watch those kinda shows for the exact reason. WAYY too emotional for me.
My sympathies to him! I HATE watching anything on TV that might make me cry!!
I'm a sucker for romantic comedies ... ask my wife. I cry all the time to the ending of "Some Kind of Wonderful."
Awhhhh so good. That show is a tear jerker.
What a darling! And I bet he's loving the fact that you have now revealed all to the entire blogosphere {{{Scargosun}}.
And he was cuddling G-dog, what a sweetheart. Men are wonderful.
That's pretty cool. The first (and only) time my husband cried at a movie, I knew he'd own my heart forever.
That is too precious! I've always said that anyone who loves animals is okay in my book, so I'm sure that he's a keeper. Extra points for getting emotional over animal cruelty.
I hate watching the animal abuse shows, because it breaks my heart too much. We have two pound puppies, and every time I see stuff like that I think of what they might have endured and it hurts too much.
OMG! How lucky are you to be with a man who can cry!!!! I love it.
Lucky wench.
That is so freaking cute, but I totally feel him. I WILL NOT watch those shows, nor will I watch that commercial with Sarah McLaughlin about abused animals. CRY MY EYES OUT.
Okay, I have been MIA (this is becomming my standard line...sorry!) but I will read and comment on everything I've missed. And thank you for your support and help. It helps, and always makes it feel better. =)
