I Must Really Be Bored

Work has picked up considerably so my posting is a little erratic.

Yesterday I needed to grab a couple things from the grocery store. I have not been in a few weeks because I have been getting our food from other places. There are somethings that you cannot get from the farm stand though, things like deodorant. I have had a tiny piece of my Dove deodorant left for about a week. You ladies know how it gets when the solid gets low, it gets crumbly and when you use it you pray that you will be able to get enough off of it before is crumbles all over you and on the floor. Half of it fell off the week before. So the mornings have had this added little stresser of hoping it lasts one more day and hopefully I'll remember to pick up another one. FINALLY, the opportunity presented itself when I needed freezer bags and hamburger buns.

The sad thing is, I was actually excited about getting a new deodorant.

I was looking forward to slapping it on every morning without having to be gentle to prevent more crumbling. I actually thought of this as a pleasant experience. There is something VERY wrong with me.

No, no, no. It's very cool when something little like that makes your day!

I LOVE new deodorant!
I get a different kind every time, except the one time I bought the infinity pack at Costco and had to use the same kind for what seemed like f o r e v e r.

My favorite right now is Mitchum shower fresh gel.

My all time favorite scent is Ban roll on original, but that scent ONLY comes in roll on and it takes a long time to dry.

Girl you are not alone! The first thing I bought when I got back to the states...SECRET. Like 10 packs! How SAD is THAT?

No, you're not bored. It's the little things that make me happy...obviously you are much the same.

If you look at it this way, it puts the madness into perspective!

This happens to guys too ... well, not with Dove deodorant, but with our own! Many times, I've pieced a deodorant bar together for a few more strokes ...

I go for a gel deodorant that one has to push at its extremes; I admit there is a certain satisfaction when one has a whole new one to indulge in without recourse to squeezing and cajoling. That said, English men don't become emotional about these sorts of things don't you know....

Today I am wearing a new bra and undies and I feel good! I guess it's more exciting than deodorant but still ....yawn.

I think this is a sign of a good life when a new deodorant can make your day. :-D

I'm scraping the container against my underarms each morning. I should probably buy a new one!

Sometimes I think you're in my head, haha.

It's important to find joy in the little things, right?

Sadly, I have 2 deodorants. One near the shower and one in my car in case I forget. Yup, I use the one in the car the most.

*snort* I so get what you mean. I used to do that all the time. Then I switched to the gel stuff by Mitchum.

Living in France I only have one thing to say...MERCI for using anti-perspirant...now if only a few million of my closest neighbours would also follow that theory....err....
