In the ER

When you have a husband who is 34 and still plays sports like he's a decade younger, you are more than likely to make trips to the ER. That is what I am currently doing. P took a hockey ball to the eye. We might get sent downtown to the eye hospital but I hope not because that would mean he probably did something to his orbital bone...and wouldn't you know it, our eye doc friend is in a hospital downtown with his wife (one of my best friends) who just gave birth to their 3rd son... EARLY! Thanks G!

Update: P is fine. Swollen but fine. He has a skin split that didn't need stiches and he broke his nose. We'll see how bad it is when the swelling does down...He would not let me post a pic of him for Crackberry Friday and...for now...I will respect his wishes.

Ugh, I HATE the ER.
Why do they call it "emergency" when all you do is wait?
I hope they gave him some good medicinal releif and he feels better soon, and add purchasing protective head gear on his to do list. :{
