Crackberry Friday: Cozy Window

It snowed here this morning. It was one of those pretty dustings that doesn't cause the roads to get too bad and touched everything with a sugar coating of the white stuff.
I took this pic out of my car window on the way to work this morning. The window just had a cozy look to it and I thought it was interesting that the greens on the left had a coating of snow but the ones on the right didn't. If I had my way, I would be at home looking out of a window like this one watching the snow fall with a cup of tea. Hopefully I will get that chance to do that sometime this winter. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the little bit we got today.

Snow always looks nice when you dont have to work in it or shovel it!
I would love to head in and have a nice warm glass of brandy and tea with ya!

That is so peaceful! We'll be lucky if we get a dusting in February - but rest assured, if we do, the world will stop (it always does....we're not used to it, y'all!!)

Wow, it sure does look cozy, nestled into the trees like that. I would have a apple cider with rum as I gaze out the window :)

Hey there! It is so strange that you have snow and we don't. I'm not as anxious for it as my beastie is, but it is pretty, and if it's going to be cold anyway ....
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really want to see a picture of your g-man. Is he half Chessie too?

(well, SB's ape actually)

p.s. I have to check out your island. What a bizarre assortment of inhabitants. I hope Amy stays alive long enough to make it worth while.

Isn't it wonderful the places you see the perfect photo opportunity? It makes a wonderful new header.
Hope you're enjoying a cup of hot tea (or a hot toddy?) as I write this.

That is a nice photo. I've been guilty of taking some quick pics from my car in places where I shouldn't have slowed down, or stopped to take a pic - but it was the only way I was going to get the shot!

No wonder you like that picture! There's something very "A Christmas Carol" about it. I'd love to be sitting in front of that window drinking hot chocolate and reading a book.

LUCKY! I sure wish we had snow here. It looks so beautiful. We did actually have snow ON CHRISTMAS one year a few years ago and it was wonderful. Of course, some of the people here in south Texas were dumbfounded and didn't know how to drive in it.

I'd still take the snow.

we got about 2 inches of snow in delco - a little more than a dusting, but still beautiful ... kind of unexpected, too - this doesn't usually happen this early in this area.

That's so cool. I've only seen snow like 4 times in my life.

I love how the snow only covered half of the shrubs! Cool!

That looks very pretty... I love snow until Jan. 2, then it just blows, literally and figuratively.
