My apologies to Kristen at La Dolce Vida for my late response...
1. I like The Andy Griffith Show reruns.
2. I had a southern accent when I lived in NC and for a short time after. This is why I don't make fun of Madonna for taking on the UK accent. I understand. It just happens sometimes.
3. I occasionally stalk people on FB when I am bored.
4. I have not cleaned my engagement ring/wedding ring in months.
5. I am watching the stock ticker and cheering and booing.
6. I cried last night while watching CSI

Aww, you stalk people on Facebook too? You sweetheart. Everyone cries at CSI, I cried at Pochahontas, for god's sake!
What? People actually clean their wedding rings? How about melting them down to make a golden bullet, does that count lol?
HAHA - you cried at CSI? Are you pregnant or something? ;) I also took on a southern accent when I lived in GA for a few years - in fact, when I get all riled up, my twang still comes out!
I could actually see myself developing a slight southern drawl in the week that I was in the Outer Banks ... it can happen!
Believe it or not, I moved from NY State to FL and then GA and now sort of sound like a Georgia cracker. I cry when I watch "Limelight" with Charlie Chaplin, but please don't tell anyone! ;o)
I never was a crier and lately been crying over all sorts of TV shows and movies. I had a really embarrassing incident watching Million Dollar Baby on a plane.
Hey, we Brits don't have an accent!
:)
Cool secrets!
Here is the position we are in with the space heaters: We have oil/hot water radiator system, and the oil is just too expensive - our monthly oil budget went up to about $300/month from $170 (you can see that we put the $170 into savings in the budget). We just didn't have the money to pay that much for oil. We already have a full tank, so in the dead of winter we will use it. The space heaters are a bit of an experiment, so we'll see what happens, but they've got to be cheaper than $300 a month!
How's that for a book? :)
I'm amazed at you Scargo!
Crying at CSI!
Stalking on FB!
And y'all think Madonna has an English accent! (I don't think so! I'm living in Scotland, and I can promise you, there absolutely is no such thing as a "British" accent).
PPS: Hulla cries at very strange things
OOh, thanks for the reminder on the ring cleaning. I missed my inspection too!!!
It is funny how we start to take on accents of where we live. All I have to do is visit England and I start to talk like them. lol They just talk so COOL!
thanks for playing along! fun learning secrets about you.
